Meet Rocko, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Rocko is a 6 month old Lab mix who weighs 48#. He’s very handsome with a short-haired tan coat. Rocko is a very happy boy, as you can tell by the smile on his face. He also has energy to burn! He has enough energy and stamina to play for hours. He will need a very active home where he can get lots of daily exercise. Rocko loves treats but can chew up a squeaky toy faster than you can say “Good Boy!”. Something new at 600 Hewett St, in downtown Neillsville, on the corner opposite the Post Office. It’s our “inconvenience store”. We have lousy parking, terrible hours, not much is organized and we don’t care if you buy anything or not. We’re only open one day each month and that’s only for 2 hours, and yet, people love it. You know why?........cuz it’s all FREE! That’s right, bring your bags, boxes, cars, trucks or buggies and fill ‘em up. It’s all free! We call it Freeday Friday and it’s August 6th from 9:30 to 11:30 only. It’s not that we’re going out of business, it’s just our way of moving out old stuff to make room for more new stuff. If it goes well, we’ll do it again. If not, we don’t really care, it’s not like we’re making any money from it anyway. See you at 9:30, August 6th!
