Here we are now
that we do today as seniors. Everything between then and now has been to prepare us for what lies ahead. The past four years have been some of the most influential years of our lives so far. We have gained experiences, relationships, and valuable lessons that will impact us for the rest of our lives. Academics are the main focus when it comes to being a student but there’s so much more to high school than just studying. Learn ing from others and our own experiences is a really big part of high school. Some of my best memories of high school are the ones I have from participating in track and field. Not being able to have those last memories like we thought we would has been kind of a hard pill to swallow. But I do believe that everything happens for a reason, even if we don’t know what that reason is at the time.

Some of the seniors that year told me that they didn’t even realize there was a freshman class. Though our class has always been small, we have many different aspirations. Whether we’re going to college, have already
