21 with a representative of the firm that’s overseeing the project. Spencer secured almost $3 million in FEMA grant funding to build its dome, which will serve as a community storm shelter as well as a new school gymnasium and community fitness center, and Abbotsford followed the lead and secured funding of its own for a similar project. Spencer’s dome is expected to be ready for use by September.
