Darlene D. Judnic, 72, of Rib Lake, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Apr. 15, 2021 at Deerview Meadows Assisted Living in Medford under the care of Hope Hospice. Funeral services for Darlene will be held Saturday, Apr. 24 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rib Lake at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Langebartels officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, Apr. 24 from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Pall Bearers will be her grandchildren. Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake.
Darlene was born Oct. 15, 1948 in Medford to the late Arthur and Dorothy (Willett) Kelnhofer. Darlene was married to Ronald Judnic on Dec. 26, 1964 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rib Lake.
Darlene was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rib Lake. She played on the Thursday evening women’s bowling league at Little Bohemia. She played on the mixed co-ed Softball league at Country View. She enjoyed working with people with disabilities at Black River Industries in Medford. Darlene loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were so very special to her.
Survivors include her children, Ramon (Julie) Judnic of Medford, Ronni (Laura) Judnic of Rib Lake and Donald (Julie) Judnic of Neenah; seven grandchildren, Jesse (Macie), Jordy (Megan), Joshua (Rachel), Benjamin (Jennifer), Justin, Megan and Joseph Judnic; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Robert Kelnhofer of South Milwaukee, Raymond (Sandy) Kelnhofer of Westboro, Rocky (Carolyn) Jones of Rib Lake, Kevin (Teri) Jones of Marshfield, Tammy (Dan) Franz of Medford, and Terry (Rae Rae) Jones of Corpus Christi, Texas. Darlene is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron on Apr. 29, 2015; her parents, Arthur Kelnhofer, and Dorothy and LeRoy Jones; her son, Clark Judnic in 1998; twin brother, Donald Kelnhofer; her sister, Debra Dums; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Kelnhofer and JoAnne Jones.
