Trials slated

The following appeared in court and entered pleas of not guilty: Gary R. Noland a.k.a. Gary Ray Noland, 51, Medford, intentionally providing improper outside animal shelter, intentionally mistreating animals and resisting or obstructing an officer; Marshall J. Fuchs, 22, Gilman, disorderly conduct; Patrick L. Adams, 39, Stetsonville, disorderly conduct-domestic abuse; Seairra S. Frombach, 24, Medford, disorderly conduct (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury) and possession of THC; Tyler J. Moretz a.k.a. Tyler James Moretz, 21, Medford, disorderly conduct-domestic abuse.

Deferred prosecution

Delene M. Weiler, 62, Medford, pled no contest to failure to maintain holding/septic tanks and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of four years. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the court will dismiss the case.

Forfeitures

Brittany A. Benz, 29, Loyal, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 20-24 mph over the limit and forfeited $225.70.

Joshua Garcia, 21, Steamwood, Ill., pled no contest to an amended charge of possession of marijuana and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been possession of THC. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.

Manuel Garcia Marcial, 31, Spencer, pled no contest to an amended charge of operating without carrying license and forfeited $393.50. The original charge had been operating without a valid license-second offense within three years.

Lonnie J. Garrett, 47, Alma, pled no contest to an amended charge of disorderly conduct and forfeited $263.50. The original charge had been resisting/obstructing an officer. Marlin Melendez, 29, Abbotsford, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 11-15 mph over the limit and forfeited $175.30.

John A. Plaskey, 59, Tomahawk, pled no contest to an amended charge of speedometer violations and forfeited $175.30. The original charge had been speeding 1115 mph over the limit.

Guadalupe Rosales, 42, Bronson, Mich., pled no contest to operating while under the influence-first offense. Rosales forfeited $891; his driver’s license was revoked for seven months; and he must complete and alcohol and drug assessment and follow through with the driver safety plan.
