Doris Bornowski

Doris Jean (Eckes) Bornowski passed away on Feb. 5, 2021, at Pinecrest Nursing Home in Merrill.

She was born on Oct. 21, 1924, to Nicholas and Margaret Eckes in Wausau.

Private family services will be held at 2 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 13, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Edgar, with the Rev. Chad Schopp presiding.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. on Saturday until the funeral service begins. Face masks and social distancing will be observed.

The funeral service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/ rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later late.
