The following cases were dismissed on prosecutor’s motions: Michael J. Mitchem, 44, Park Falls, theft; Robert J. Shirah, 44, Milwaukee, battery (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury) and strangulation and suffocation (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury).
The following appeared in court and entered pleas of not guilty: Edward P. Peterson, 39, Medford, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property; Eli R. Bogdonovich a.k.a. Eli Robert Bogdonovich, 36, Rib Lake, operating while under the influence-fifth or sixth offense, operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration (PAC)-fifth or sixth offense, felony bail jumping and operating while revoked; Lillian C. Goure, 48, Medford, intentionally abuse of a hazardous substance and misdemeanor bail jumping; Logan J. Rasmussen, 17, Owen, possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18 years old and criminal damage to property; Michael F. Murphy a.k.a. Mike F. Murphy III, 34, Ogema, escapecriminal arrest; Samantha L. Hays, 19, Fond du Lac, disorderly conduct; William E. Weir a.k.a. William Edward Weir, 44, Gilman, battery (domestic abuse-infliction of physical pain or injury) and disorderly conduct-domestic abuse.
Jack R. McCarty, 22, Glidden, pled no contest to inattentive driving and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of one year. Upon successful completion of the first offenders program, the court will dismiss the case.
John D. Tischer Jr., 42, Gilman, pled no contest to battery (domestic abuseinfl iction of physical pain or injury) and entered into a deferred prosecution agreement for a period of one year. As terms of the agreement, Tischer must not commit any criminal offenses during the period of the agreement; notify the Taylor County district attorney and clerk of court offices of any address change within 10 days; comply with all of the terms of bond, which continues to remain in effect during the period of the agreement; write a letter of apology, pre-approved by the victim witness coordinator, to the victim within 30 days; and attend counseling with a provider of his choice to address alcohol and anger management issues and provide proof of attendance to the district attorney’s office within six months of the agreement. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the state will move to dismiss the charge.
Mariah K. Ditusa, 28, Medford, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 11-15 mph over the limit and forfeited $175.30.
Christine M. Geimer, 35, Wausau, pled no contest to a reduced charge of speeding 11-15 mph over the limit and forfeited $175.30.
Gerardo S. Lopez, 25, Medford, pled no contest to possession of open intoxicants in motor vehicle by driver, operating left of center and a license restriction violation. He forfeited $263.50, $213,10 and $200.50.
Terry L. G. Lukes, 38, Sheldon, pled no contest to operating while suspended and forfeited $200.50.
Stacy L. Noak, 36, Wausau, pled no contest to operating a motor vehicle without insurance and forfeited $200.50.
Noak also pled no contest to operating while suspended and forfeited $443. A count of misdemeanor bail jumping was dismissed but read in for sentencing purposes.
Glenn F. Oleson, 71, Rib Lake, pled no contest to an amended charge of disorderly conduct and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been violating a harassment restraining injunction order.
John D. Tischer Jr., 42, Gilman, pled no contest to an amended charge of reckless driving-endangering safety and forfeited $389.50. The original charge had been operating while under the influence- first offense.
A separate charge of operating while suspended against Tischer was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
Glenn W. Watkins, 20, Prentice, pled no contest to an amended charge of possession of marijuana and forfeited $330.50. The original charge had been possession of THC. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.
Separate charges of operating a motor vehicle without insurance and non-registration of vehicle against Watkins were dismissed on prosecutor’s motions.
