Anita M. Dohrwardt

1957-2020

Anita M. Dohrwardt, 63 of Medford, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020 from lung cancer under the care of Hope Hospice at Deerview Meadows. Services will be held at a later date. She was born on May 21, 1957 to Walter and Janet Smith. On September 27, 1975 she married James Dohrwardt in Medford.

Anita was a homemaker and enjoyed making quilts, baking, raising German Shepherd dogs, fishing, gardening, playing cards, word finds and shopping.

In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by her children, Jamie (Rebecca) Dohrwardt of Medford, Rachel Dohrwardt of Medford, Shane Dohrwardt of Withee, Jace (Taylor) Dohrwardt of Medford; seven grandchildren; her siblings, Laurel (Ed) Radomski of Plover, Duane (Annette) Smith of Medford, Colleen Reissmann of Tucson, Ariz. and Alana Smith of Wausau.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Janet Smith; and two sisters, Leslie of Wis. and Gail of Idaho.
