Rib Lake will hold its 33rd annual Ice Age Days celebration this Friday through Sunday, Aug. 6-8 in downtown Rib Lake.

On Friday, a gun show will be held from 3-8 p.m. at the Ice Age Pavilion. The Rib Lake Public Library will hold a book and bake sale from 4-6 p.m. There will be a quilt show on Main Street beginning at 4 p.m. Registration for the 1 mile/5k walk/run begins at 4:30 p.m. at Hanke’s Little Bohemia with the race starting at 6:30 p.m. Mini rod pulls will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. A basketball three-point shooting contest will be held from 7-10 p.m. at Genesis Youth Center. A street dance with music by “She Knows” will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Saturday’s activities kick off with a Lutheran Ladies bake sale from 8 a.m. to noon at St. John Lutheran Church. Registration for the car show also begins at 8 a.m. with the show running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration for the 25 to 30 mile tractor ride starts at 9:30 a.m. with the tractors leaving the high school at 10 a.m. The library will continue its book and bake sale from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be a craft sale and quilt show on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration for the Main Street Bean Bag tournament begins at 11 a.m. with the tournament beginning at noon. The gun show at the Ice Age Pavilion continues from noon to 8 p.m. At 12:30 p.m. registration begins for the first annual outdoor bowling tournament at Hanke’s Little Bohemia with bowling taking place from 1-3 p.m. The basketball three-point contest concludes at Genesis Youth Center from 1-4 p.m. “Matt Robisch & the All Stars” will perform from 4-8 p.m., followed by a street dance with music by “28 Special” from 8 p.m. to midnight.

On Sunday, a free breakfast will be served from 7:308:45 a.m. at Genesis Youth Center with a worship service at 10 a.m. There will be a craft sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and quilt show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Main Street. At 11 a.m. the American Legion will serve a barbecue chicken dinner and registration begins for the parade. The gun show will take place from noon to 5 p.m. at the Ice Age Pavilion. The parade begins at 1 p.m., followed by a pie auction to raise money for the “Dollars for Scholars” Scholarship. There will be music by “The Candi Shop” beginning at 3 p.m.

There will be food and refreshments, a raffle and carnival rides all weekend long.
