COVID-19 messages from Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinics
As Wisconsin works on safely reopening, Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinics have four important public messages:
Face Mask Donations Needed
As regular appointments and elective procedures resume, the number of face masks being used has increased. Community members are encouraged to continue sewing and donating face masks to Aspirus. Donations can be dropped off with screening staff at Door 23 near the Aspirus Medford Hospital loading docks.
Aspirus is following the CDCâs latest recommendation of expanding the use of face masks to help prevent the transmission of COVID-19 from individuals who do not have symptoms (asymptomatic) or are not yet exhibiting symptoms (pre-symptomatic). Everyone who enters Aspirus facilities is screened for symptoms of COVID-19 and is required to wear a facemask during their visit.
Modified Valet Services
Since 2011 Aspirus Medford Hospital has offered complimentary valet services to assist patients and visitors. Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, Aspirus valet staff are no longer parking vehicles on behalf of patients. Valet staff continue to be available at the main entrance to assist patients from outside their vehicle to the COVID-19 screening station in lobby. Aspirus thanks the community for understanding this slight change in valet services as patient and staff safety is top priority.
Aspirus Medford Clinic is open for regular appointments. Call 715-748-2121 with any questions or to schedule your appointment.
