Amberlee S. Petrie, 27, Stratford, and Gene H. Schultz, 84, Medford, were involved in an accident on July 19 at 4:06 p.m. on Gibson Drive in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Petrie vehicle and a farm tractor operated by Schultz were southbound on Gibson Drive. As the Petrie vehicle was passing the Schultz vehicle, it made a left turn to enter a field access driveway and the rear tire of the tractor struck the right side of the Petrie vehicle. The Petrie vehicle sustained damage to the front, right front corner, right side front and right side middle. There was no damage to the tractor.
David I. Medina Ramos, 35, Medford, and a vehicle owned by Nicole L. Kerr, Medford, were involved in an accident on July 21 at 7:45 a.m. on West Cedar Street in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Kerr vehicle was legally-parked and unoccupied on West Cedar Street. The Medina Ramos vehicle was southbound on South Washington Avenue and made a left turn onto West Cedar Street where it struck the rear driverās side corner of the Kerr vehicle. The Medina Ramos vehicle sustained damage to the right front corner and right side front. Medina Ramos was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
Lori S. Karau, 46, Cook, Minn., and Debra A. Fehlhaber, 62, Medford, were involved in an accident on July 22 at 3:04 p.m. at the intersection of Taylor Street and Hwy 13 in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Fehlhaber vehicle was southbound on Hwy 13. The Karau vehicle was eastbound on Taylor Street and stopped for the stop sign at the intersection with Hwy 13. After a southbound non-contact vehicle had passed, the driver of the Karau vehicle proceeded to make a left turn onto Hwy 13 in front of the Fehlhaber vehicle. The drivers of both vehicle applied the brakes, but were unable to avoid the collision. Karau said she did not see the Fehlhaber vehicle prior to turning. The Karau vehicle sustained minor damage to the left front corner. The Fehlhaber vehicle sustained minor damage to the right front corner. Looked but did not see by Karau was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. She was issued a citation for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign.
Makayla M. Breneman, 17, Medford, and Dona J. Brandner, 47, Westboro, were involved in an accident on July 23 at 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy 13 and Clark Street in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Brandner vehicle was northbound on Hwy 13 and passing through the intersection with Clark Street. The Breneman vehicle was southbound on Hwy 13 and made a left turn onto Medford Plaza in front of the Brandner vehicle. Brandner sustained possible injuries, but was not transported for medical treatment. The Breneman vehicle sustained disabling damage to the right side rear and right side corner. It was towed from the scene. The Brandner vehicle sustained damage to the front. right front corner and right side front. Failure to yield the right-of-way by Breneman was listed in the report as a factor in the accident. She was issued a citation for failure to yield while making a left turn.
Kirk K. Kalepp, 58, Dorchester, and Taylor A. Palkowski, 38, Blair, were involved in an accident on July 24 at 2:18 p.m. in a parking lot at 348 S. Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Kalepp vehicle was in a parking space in front of the Palkowski vehicle. As both vehicles were maneuvering to park, the front of the Palkowski vehicle came in contact with the rear of the Kalepp vehicle. The Palkowski vehicle sustained damage to the front bumper and a scuff mark. There was no visible damage to the Kalepp vehicle.
Allan O. Checky, 76. Willard, was involved in an accident on July 21 at the intersection of CTH E and Hwy 64 in the town of Hammel. According to the accident report, a semi tractor and flatbed trailer operated by Checky was northbound on CTH E and stopped for the stop sign at the intersection with Hwy 64. As the vehicle was making a right turn onto Hwy 64, the flatbed trailer struck the guard rail on the east side of the road, damaging the guard rail and causing minor damage to the brake lines of the trailer. Failure to control by Checky was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.
