Glam Band to make Parkfest return
The Glam Band will be coming back to Medford next summer for Parkfest 2025 promising all the old-school 1980s hair band music you can handle, and hopefully less of the rain that dampened the crowd at the 2024 concert event.
“We had an overwhelming amount of people request for us to have the Glam Band back. We are excited to fulfill that request,” said Billie Henrichs of the Medford Area Chamber of Commerce.
“We have no doubt they will put on another amazing show with a different set list. Join us for Parkfest 2025!” Henrichs said, noting that Parkfest tickets make great stocking stuffers.
The 1980s were a time when excess ruled. Times were fun and the music was a party. From sing-along anthems to timeless ballads showing their “soft side,” Sunset Strip rockers provided the soundtrack for our life.
The Glam Band is made up of six guys bringing listeners back to their favorite decade (whether you like to admit it or not). Donning an over-the-top stage show, makeup and costumes that will either make you smile or cringe, their goal is to transport attendees back to the decade of decadence. The band members are Dennis Lee Roth on vocals, Randall Schenker on guitar, Will E. Stradlyn on guitar, Matty Savage on bass, Dee Flatt on keyboard and Skitch Rockett on drums.
As with all great 80s bands, the over the-top personalities of the band members and their interaction on stage and with the fans was half the draw or better. The Glam Band is no different with the performers having people up on their feet and dancing and partying along to the 80s favorites.
Parkfest 2025 will be held on Thursday, August 14. VIP tickets are on sale now at the Medford Area Chamber of Commerce office on Perkins St. in Medford.
