Schulz-Juedes found guilty of murdering her husband
A 12-member Marathon County jury’s verdict to the judge on Tuesday is that Cindy Schulz-Juedes, 66, is guilty of intentional homicide in the death of her husband, Ken Juedes.
He was found dead of two gun shot wounds on Aug. 30, 2006, in Unity Schulz-Juedes was long considered a person of interest in what was once considered a cold case. The jury also found Schulz-Juedes guilty of obstructing the police officers’ inves-
tigation into the mur- £ der of Ken Juedes. A sentencing date will be scheduled at a later time. Jury members deliberated on Tuesday following closing arguments in the murder case. Prosecutors said Schulz-Juedes had the motive, resources and knowledge to kill Ken Juedes. In closing statements, their argument was Schulz-Juedes knew the layout of the house, how to work their surveillance system and she knew Ken Juedes was drunk the night he was shot and not fully capable of defending himself.
