Colby boys fall to unbeaten Stratford

HERE IT COMES - Matthew Stewart looks to pass during Colby’s non-conference game against Stratford on Monday. The Hornets fell behind early, but flashed their potential with a strong second half effort as they nearly tripled their first half output. Stewart finished with six points, and is Colby’s leading scorer with 12 points a game.

The Colby Hornets faced one of their sternest tests of the season on Monday. Colby hosted the 10-0 Stratford Tigers in a non-conference meeting of Marawood and Cloverbelt teams.
The Colby Hornets knew that facing the Tigers was going to be a tall task, and not just because the Tigers boast a team full of athletes that stand 6’2” or taller.
