Court says officer is more credible than the person who alleged abuse
June 21. 2018 -- by Brian Wilson
A Taylor County court commissioner ruled on Monday that a Medford police officer’s testimony was more credible than his former fiancée’s when answering allegations of domestic and sexual abuse within their relationship.
Court commissioner Bill Grunewald ruled that petitioner did not meet the burden of proof as required by the law in imposing an injunction against Robert Stieber and dismissed the civil lawsuit. In this case, the petitioner sought a 10-year injunction.
