UPDATE: 10:35 p.m. has released its UNOFFICIAL playoff field.
IN: Medford (D3), Spencer/Columbus (D5), Stratford (D5), Colby (D5), Rib Lake-Prentice (D6), Marathon (D6), Abbotsford (D6), Edgar (D7), Loyal (D7).
OUT: Thorp, Gilman.

UPDATE: 10:23 p.m.
Unofficially, at least 224 teams have .500 or better conference records, meaning there will be no spots available for sub-.500 teams.

UPDATE: 9:56 p.m.
Thorp improved to 4-5 with a win over Newman Catholic and likely played their way into one of the final playoff spots. The same goes for Colby, who is also 4-5, but more importantly, 4-4 in Cloverbelt play, after a win tonight.

UPDATE: 9:47 p.m.
Antigo's upset win over Medford won't keep the Raiders out of the playoffs, but it could affect their seeding, though they still should receive a home game. Gilman's loss to Abbotsford means they're no longer in playoff contention while Rib Lake-Prentice was largely unaffected by their 35-point loss to Spencer/Columbus, a team they could see again if they end up placed in Division 5.

Week 9 scores from around the area:

Antigo 27, Medford 25.
The Red Raiders committed five turnovers while the Red Robins committed none. The result means Antigo, Medford and Merrill (all 5-1) are co-champions of the Great Northern Conference.

Abbotsford 42, Gilman 6.
Falcons finish 9-0 to claim second straight Cloverwood championship. Pirates are eliminated from playoff contention.

Spencer/Columbus 43, Rib Lake-Prentice 8.
