Robert B. Fronk, 75, of Medford, town of Little Black resident, passed away at his home on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019. Per Roberts wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held.
Robert was born on Feb.1, 1944 in Harvey, N.D. to Frank and Kathryn (Schneider) Fronk, and is the youngest of 15 children. He was a graduate of Harvey High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1962 and was stationed at Fort Fill in Oklahoma and served in the field artillery regiment. On Sept. 18, 1965 he married Mary Emmer in Medford and she survives. Robert worked as a meat processor for Tombstone Pizza for 17 years. He enjoyed all sorts of sports, especially golfing, hunting and softball. Robert had a passion for his family, especially his grandchildren, and loved attending their sporting events to cheer them on. He never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to people and making new acquaintances. Robert loved his country and was very patriotic.
He was a member of Center City Church in Marshfield and served as a greeter there.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by four sons, Robert (Paula) of Holcombe, John and Chad (Misty), all of Medford and Thomas (Stacy) of Withee; grandchildren, Carli, Chase, Cassidy, Emma, Sutton, Marissa and Bryn; four siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings.
