Irma M. (Nosko) Howsden

Irma M. (Nosko) Howsden, 84, of Owen, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 at Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Community Alliance Church in Withee with Pastor Andy Davis officiating. Interment was at Perkinstown Cemetery in the town of Grover.
Irma was born on April 29, 1935 in Medford, the daughter of William and Ruby (Redwine) Meyer of Perkinstown. On Oct. 11, 1952, Irma was united in marriage to Stephen Nosko and he preceded her in death in 1978. She was united in marriage to Darell "Red" Howsden on July 9, 1985 and he preceded her in death in 2006.
Irma is survived by her five children, Mike (Lorraine) Nosko of Withee, Mark (Debra Visser) Nosko of Owen, Kelly (Carol) Nosko of Apple Valley, Minn., Peggy (Al) Duda of Sullivan, Mo. and Bill (Marcia) Nosko of Saukville; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two brothers and one sister, Donald (Lana) Meyer, Lester (Mary) Meyer and Esther Clarkson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; her daughter, Judith Nosko; one brother, Raymond Meyer; and two sisters, Shirley Meyer and Enola Westrich.
The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen were entrusted with arrangements.
