Clifford E. Premeau

Clifford “Eddie” E. Premeau, 88, of Ogema, formerly of Ripon, passed away at his reisdence on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018 under the care of Flambeau Home Health and Hospice, surrounded by his family. Funeral services for Clifford will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 2 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Prentice with Father Gerald Hagen officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Westboro. Visitation will take place on Friday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in honor of Clifford may be made to St. John The Baptist Catholic Church.
Clifford was born on July 11, 1929 to Edmund and Viola Premeau in Westboro. He married Ailene Lorraine Storm on Sept. 30, 1950 in Rib Lake and she preceded him in death in 2015. He was self-employed at Cliff’s Tire and Battery until his retirement. In 1996, Ailene and Clifford moved from Ripon to Ogema, where they had lived since 1972. He was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting and watching all different kinds of wildlife in his backyard. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Clifford is survived by his children, Margaret Stone of Naperville, Ill., Melinda (Dan) Krieg of DePere and Jacqueline (Mark) Peterson of Ripon; grandchildren, Julie (John) McCullough of New Market, Ala., Erin (Adam) Vallez of Capron, Ill., Noah (Barbie) Surfass of Stockton, Utah, Stacy (Rick) Fischer, Sara (Mike) Williams and Daniel (Courtney) Krieg, all of Neenah, Ryan (Emily) Peterson of Beaver Dam and Steffen (Briana) Peterson of Cedarville, Calif.; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Bailey Curtis, Emelia and Caleb Vallez, JP, Lauren and Kathryn McCullough, Max Fischer, Sapphire Krieg, Kaylee Williams and Danika Williams; nieces and nephews, Terri (Ed) Anderson, Cindy (Mark) Meyering, Dave (Cheryl) Hanson, Deborah Storm, Margie (Scott) Pearson, Barb (Matt) Brager and Liz (Tony) Nehmer and brother-in-law, Wayne Tlusty.
In addition to his wife, Ailene, Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kathleen Surfass; great-grandson, Ricky Fischer; sisters, Geraldine Hanson and Susan Tlusty; brothers-in-law, Art Hanson and Marvin and John Storm and sister-in-law, Donna Storm.
