The Cornell Chiefs Boys Basketball team had a successful season to say the least, as they went 15-8 overall, and earned the East Lakeland Conference Championship title after only losing once.

“It was a three-year process to get to this point,” said Cornell head coach Shawn Schoelzel, whose team last won the title in 2013, “and it was a lot of fun to see the kids’ faces when we finally had it to ourselves.”

Feb. 28 Regionals vs. Gilman (W 57-44)

With the regular season over, the Chiefs opened their playoff schedule Feb. 28, to face off against Gilman for the WIAA regional quarter-finals.
