With two seniors, Matt Kostka and Takoda Lee, competing at State for the Cornell-Lake Holcombe-Gilman Wolfpack Feb. 23-25, wrestlers came out on top with third and fourth-place finishes.

“The team should be inspired by their success,” said head coach Greg Sonnentag. “Some of the other wrestlers were down in Madison watching, and I know they have great aspirations for themselves next season.

“Takoda and Matt’s success simply springs forward the confidence levels of their teammates, and brings forth some extra motivation.”
