With the East Lakeland Conference meet right around the corner (May 16), the Cornell-Lake Holcombe Knights Track and Field teams are “hitting their strides” and placing in the top spots of their competition.

At Gilman, the Cornell-Lake Holcombe boys team topped the girls May 2, as the Knights boys earned third to the girls seventh-place finish out of the 10 schools participating.

“I think the meet went well,” said Tim Sime, Knights head coach. “I was very pleased with some of our times. Some of the times were very, very good. The effort of the athletes competing was very strong.”
