Knights put out their best game of the year

Rainy weather gave the Cornell-Lake Holcombe Knights baseball team a break from play May 15, but with rescheduled games for May 16, 18 and 19, the boys will come off two wins from last week to try and hold their place in the conference.

May 9 vs. Bruce (W 6-0, conference)

Cornell-Lake Holcombe was tied with Bruce in the East Lakeland Conference standings until May 9, when things heated up at the Knights home field.

Senior Noah Nohr pitched the full game (100 throws), giving up no runs on just one hit and one walk. In the circle, Nohr struck out seven Red Raiders, for what head coach John Lee calls “his best game of the year.”
