To say the Cadott Hornets Cross Country teams are having a rough start this 2017 season, would be an understatement. At an Aug. 29 Bruce invitational, the girls went from five runners to only three in the first mile of the course because of the injury bug, and an actual bug.

“Our final girl runner, Jazmyne Cannon, was stung by a bee, which affected her time,” said Hornets head coach Tom Weiss, mentioning this was only her second race in cross country.
