It was the story of the relays for the Cadott Hornets Track teams this week, as both the girls and boys teams had several top-five finishers for the four-athlete events.

May 9 at Colfax

The Hornets started the week at Colfax May 9, taking on 13 other schools throughout the state. The boys’ team came in fifth for the day, as the 4x400-meter relay led the Hornets in second.

Cadott sophomore Noah Kahl earned a third-place finish in the 400-meter dash, and placed fourth in the 800-meter run.

Senior Joey Hinzmann took third in the pole vault event, while the 4x100- and 4x800-meter each finished in fifth.
