With the sun shining down on the fields of Dodson Recreational Area in Bruce, the Cornell-Lake Holcombe Knights Cross Country team prepared themselves for rough terrain Aug. 29.

“It was hot out and the course had more hills than the last one,” said Aimee Lebal, Knights head coach, “but they worked hard and pushed through.”

Junior Orianna Lebal took the lead for her team in fourth place at 22 minutes, 40.5 seconds.

“Orianna is very competitive,” said Coach Lebal, “and has a strong drive.”
