The Cadott Hornets Track and Field teams competed in two competitions this week, but their home-field advantage pushed them through to their first- and second-place honors May 5. Head coach Pat Rothbauer says as the end of the season approaches, he’s interested to see how the athletes match up in the conference meet, as well as at Regionals.

“We are steering clear of major injuries at this point,” he said, “and only have the typical end-of-the-year sore leg issues that we usually deal with on a year-to-year basis.”

May 2 at Gilman

Tying at fourth for the day, Hornets track and field teams each placed the same out of 10 schools participating May 2, at Gilman.
