Cadott golf defends their crown

The kings and queen of the Cloverbelt are back on top this week, as the Cadott Hornets Golf team swung into first in the standings at 56.5 points, two points above Osseo-Fairchild.

Head coach Scott Christenson says if his fourth and fifth golfers can stick to the mid-40s for their score, the team will be “very competitive” at the end of the season.

May 2 at Marshfield Country Club

The Hornets bettered their swings during a May 2 invitational at Marshfield, as Cadott placed first out of 10 schools with 170. The team came in four strokes below their conference competitor Osseo-Fairchild, who earned second for the day.
