Possibilities for school reminder system are infinite

It’s good to have reminders, something the Cornell School Board feels strongly about.

It’s good to have reminders, something the Cornell School Board feels strongly about. At the regular meeting Sept. 24, members looked at a proposal as part of the Infinite Campus Messenger System.

With the district-wide service, messages would be sent to parents when something unexpected happened at the school, such as closing early because of weather. Infinite Campus is already used in the district as part of the student management software.

“The data is in there, it’s just a matter of them putting the program in to allow it to be sent out,” said superintendent Paul Schley.
