Although A. Pat Mrotek passed away from cancer at age 78, in June 2018, his legacy lives on with the lives he’s touched in the Cadott wrestling program. In his memory, Pat’s family donated his Lifetime Service to Wrestling Hall of Fame jacket and his Wrestling National Hall of Fame plaque, to the Cadott Wrestling Club.

The presentation took place during what Pat loved best – a wrestling tournament at the Cadott High School Jan. 5.

“Pat came to Cadott in 1963, and he was a servant of our community right up until his passing,” said current Cadott wrestling coach Josh Spaeth. “Pat inspired a lot of people. Pat was just a fantastic guy.”
