Lake Holcombe School Board; District bids farewell to outgoing teachers
By Ginna Young
It was all about goodbyes at the Lake Holcombe School Board meeting June 17, as five teachers turned in their resignations. Superintendent Joni Weinert said some of the farewells were expected, while others came out of nowhere.
Hope Carlson, high school math teacher and student council adviser, took a position at River Falls High School.
I appreciate the opportunities I have been given during my time at Lake Hoclombe, as well as your professional guidance and support, wrote Carlson. I will miss this place, and will cherish the memories and relationships I’ve made here.
High school special education teacher Michelle Houston also took her leave, for a position at South Middle School in Eau Claire.
