Al Harp’s Holcombe garage isn’t just a hobby to him, it represents a big part of his life. The large, metal building holds not only Harp’s workshop, but also his lifetime collection of automotive memorabilia.

Included in his collection, is a Super Shell gas pump. Harp found the pump in a junk pile, “straightened it out” and listed it on Ebay for $10,000. While he did receive a bid from a man in Switzerland for $9,500, Harp decided not to accept the offer.

“I didn’t really want to sell it, I just wanted to find out what it was worth,” said Harp.

Harp also owns a Golden Shell motor oil storage unit. In the days before plastic oil containers, the unit held metal cans of oil, and was located between regular and premium pumps.
