Harley Oemig’s bond was modified during a review hearing July 3. Oemig, 64, Cornell, is charged with first degree sexual assault of child, stemming from a complaint filed in August 2017.

Oemig’s attorney, Harry Hertel, said he and the prosecuting attorney, Wade Newell, agreed to waive the objection to untimely filing of information, in exchange for the bond modification.

The modification allows Oemig to have children in his presence, as long as a responsible adult is present at all times and he is never left alone with minors.
