The sale of five Gordy’s Market, Inc., locations was approved at a motion hearing March 8, including the Cornell location. Nash Finch Company, a food distribution company, brought the suit against Gordy’s, saying the grocery chain owed over $46 million, as of Jan. 9.

Lauren Stanley, in court on behalf of receiver Michael Polsky, updated the court on the case. Stanley said a stipulation filed prior to the hearing, resolved a motion for alternative relief, which was withdrawn; the objection to the financing order was also withdrawn; and the counterclaim filed by the defendant, which was dismissed with prejudice.

The court approved the stipulation after there were no objections.
