Cindy Westaby case dismissed by court
By Julia Wolf
The case against Cindy Westaby, 57, Cornell, was dismissed without prejudice in a plea/sentencing hearing July 5. Westaby faced the charge of theft of moveable property from the City of Cornell, as party to a crime.
At the request of Westaby’s attorney, Harry Hertel, the case was dismissed without prejudice until her co-defendent’s case, John Westaby (husband), is closed. At that point, the case will be dismissed with prejudice.
