Cadott Village Board; DJ’s expansion in the works

With parking a concern for customers at DJ’s Mart in Cadott, owner John Salden says he wants to solve those problems and update the store, with added space for diesel-fueled vehicles.

“I’m proposing to make a significant investment right at the main corner in Cadott,” said Salden at a May 1 Cadott Village Board meeting. “I’m going to eventually raze and rebuild everything that is there…I need to take over the alleyway to make this happen.”

Salden said in order to allow “better access,” he will expand the gas pumps into his other property next door. Between the gas station and his additional property is an alley, where Salden says piping will need to go underneath, and plans to pave the road during re-construction.
