Cadott Village Board; Contract for total reassessment approved
By Julia Wolf
The Cadott Village Board voted to approve cost revisions to the assessor’s contract at a regular meeting Nov. 5. The change came after the village got its first notice of noncompliance.
“After we approved the last contract with the assessor for the next three years, they (the assessors) got notice from the state...that we are falling behind on our assessment,” said village president Anson Albarado.
Albarado said both residential and commercial properties will need to be reassessed.
