Cadott School Board; Cadott plans upcoming maintenance projects

The Cadott School Board discussed how to prioritize upcoming capital maintenance projects

By Julia Wolf

The Cadott School Board discussed how to prioritize upcoming capital maintenance projects during a regular meeting July 9. The conversation centered around the role the construction management firm Kraus Anderson will play in the maintenance, and how the projects will be funded.

Head of grounds Jamie Dusick says his team is organizing a list of projects they can do in-house, as well as working with Kraus Anderson to create a capital maintenance plan.

“This is a big, huge project,” said board member Cedric Boettcher. “How do we approach it? How do we prioritize it? How do we pay for it?”

Boettcher said the Facilities and Transportation Committee decided more discussion on budgeting is needed before they can present a plan to the board.
