Dan Burns received a special thank you for his service to the Village of Cadott, in recognition of a job well done. Dan has worked as a wastewater treatment plant operator in the village for 21 years.

Dan was presented the Operator of the Year Award through the Wisconsin Wastewater Operators Association Oct. 18. The award followed a conference put on by the same organization. The association tries to surprise the recipient of the Operator of the Year award.

Jean, Dan’s wife, says she and Dan have gone to the conference every year for the past 19 years, or so.
